Tricks & Tools From Traffic And Conversion Summit 2019
We’ve got some great stuff that we’re going to be covering. Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite webinars that I do. We go to an event like Traffic & Conversion and I’m going to come back and share cool tools and tricks that we learned from the event that I thought are going to be valuable for you. We’ve got a variety of people joining us and they are registered for the event. They are note real estate investors. We also have people interested in investing in notes or buying notes. Make sure you subscribe though because we do put these episodes on iTunes as our Note Night in America Podcast. I’m excited about our topic. I’d also love for you to listen to The Note Closers Show, review it and give us a five-star review as well. There are lots of great content, interviews, guests and vendors that we have on a regular basis.
We’ve got a little bit of housekeeping and we’re making some changes. It affects Note Night in America. It affects these webinars that we do. We are still planning on having three to four of these every month like we normally do but we’re going to be making a couple of changes. The first Monday will be open to everybody like it’s always been but the following second through fourth Mondays of the month will be only for WCN Membership only. They will not be open to everybody in public anymore. With us tweaking a few things, we believe that a lot of people can get a lot of great information through our podcast. We’d love to have you listen to the podcast but the nuts and bolts of what we want to do, we want to deliver to our WCN Membership members. That’s what we plan on doing.
With our members, we’re no longer be doing a Wednesday coaching call. Most of them are used to tuning in on Monday nights. Instead of doing one coaching call a month, it will be two to three coaching calls per month for WCN members group out there. If you’ve got WCN Membership, you’ve got your Wednesday nights back. It will be dedicated directly to you. We will be uploading the episodes a couple of weeks onto our podcast but they’ll be audio, they will not be videos. We will not be uploading the videos to YouTube for public consumption either. We’d love to have you. We provide so much great content on here. That’s what we’re here for. You can sign up at a price at WCNMembership.com to get access to those live calls for $97 a month. That also includes swag bag.
If you’re part of the WCN Membership, a lot of you that are on here, nothing’s going to change except you’d get your Wednesday nights back. If you’re not a part of it, take advantage of it. Get signed up for WCN Membership at $97 a month. Based on the discounts we provide, based on the savings, based on the discounts of the events, there are a lot of great things we do with that to help provide you savings. If I can’t make you save $97 a month with a membership, I’m doing something wrong. We want to focus and take things a little bigger that way. That’s the only way we can do that to take it a little bit bigger and do it here on Monday nights where everybody’s used to it as well.
If you don’t want to be a part of it, that’s completely fine. We respect that. You’ll still be able to tune in on the first Mondays but not the second through the fourth Mondays any further. Remember, if you’re a WCN member, you get access to Note CAMP, our Virtual Workshops and are able to repeat those as well at no additional cost along with the other bonuses. That’s over $1,000 value right there, be able to repeat and get that information.
Best Marketing Tools From The Traffic & Conversion Summit
Let’s move on to tools and tricks from the Traffic & Conversion Summit. This is the largest marketing event put on in North America. Over 6,200 people attended or bought tickets to this event. It took place in San Diego with 200-plus vendors and digital entrepreneurs. I’m a big believer that besides the note business, we’re all in the media business. The way you get your word out on what you’re doing either to raise capital to find deals or closed deals is by leveraging your media and leveraging your marketing. There are a lot of great things that we go through. Fortunately for me, I was very blessed early on in my real estate investing journey to be mentored by an amazing individual who’s one of the main principals of Traffic and Conversion by the name of Roland Frasier. He’s an absolutely amazing individual and the smartest marketers when it comes to everything.
He often has two or three presentations that take place and I always try to go to those because I always get an amazing nugget. It makes it worth the whole ticket price and it’s not a cheap ticket to go. I learn something new every time I go. It becomes extremely valuable to me. When we walk out of it, we often feel like we want to blow up our business, start with some different things and do some things differently with it. We’ve been lucky enough over the last couple of years to do some amazing things, expand the brand and help a lot of our students out there. WCN Membership came from a Traffic & Conversion Summit. It helped us with a lot of our online training. The Note Blueprint was originally started there and the idea to do the online event, it all started at the Traffic & Conversion Summit. A lot of people like this webinar and what we are going to talk about because I share the greatest tips and tools from it. Roland shares his presentations on SlideShare.

Traffic And Conversion Summit: Get the word out on what you’re doing either to raise capital, to find deals, or to close deals by leveraging your media and leveraging your marketing.
Every presentation is there and he had four. One is the Best Marketing Tools that they use for Digital Marketer, which is doing tons and tons of business, 17 Unique Marketing Tweaks You Can Copy, Proven To Drive Instant, Guaranteed Results, Bullet-Proof Copy: Instantly & Easily Create Uniquely Effective Marketing Campaigns Using These Proven ‘What-To-Say-When’ Magic Messaging Models and Achieving Unicorn Growth. We are not going to go through those three. We are going to go through the tools one, the Best Marketing Tools from the Traffic & Conversion Summit. If you want to download this, you can literally go straight to SlideShare.net and type in Roland Frasier and find his slides there. The thing is it’s 132 images. We are going to go through this relatively quickly. There are going to be some great nuggets that we want to do. There would be some of them we’re probably going to skip over that most of you are never going to use. The tools that Roland shared are amazing.
Here’s one of the first ones. BuiltWith.com, if you ever want to find out what websites are built with, if you like a website or you want to see what kind of platform, what kind of technology, here’s where you do it, BuiltWith.com. Type in the website and they’ll tell you exactly what that person has built their website with. The next one is Datanyze.com. This is the same thing. If you’re wanting to see what kind of services or some type of other websites are using, this is a great website to use as well. It will help you build some cool graphics or other cool plugins that they might use. If you want to use Competitive Intelligence, this is phenomenal. SimilarWeb.com allows to give you detailed desktop/mobile traffic, demographics, popular pages info. Ad histories on Adbeat, iSpionage is a customer journey from ad network/creatives to the landing pages. SEMRush is a beautiful way to look at your SEO keyword research for your tabs and your videos. Ahrefs helps you with backlinks and keyword/competitive analysis. Ghostery.com got some cool extension on Chrome.
If you wanted to take a look at Who’s Mailing What!, it’s direct email campaign on performance tracking. Crayon is a competitive intelligence on product launches, site changes and price tracking. Tubular Labs, I like its video intelligence, performance tracking and leaderboards. Alexa.com, web ranking and competitive intelligence. The ones in green are what he considers essential and the black are optional. DataMinr discovers high impact news before the media does. Some of you guys are creating blogs or want to use articles. WhatRunsWhere is also a competitive ad and intelligence tool and Follow.net is low-end all-in-one ad intelligence.
Content Marketing
Let’s talk about some content marketing. A lot of people struggle with, “How do you cope up with all the content, Scott?” There are some great websites. Hawkeye.ai will help you find some interesting stuff and get it shared out there across social media groups. GroupHigh.com is the world’s largest blogger database. You can literally find people that have already blogged and you could use this to help share across your website, your articles and things like that. VastClicks.com turns curated content into leads. You can see it gives you a nice dashboard. It’s like an advanced Snip.ly, for some of you guys are using Snip.ly out there. StoryBase is another thing for finding content for you in different articles. MarketMuse.com is the same thing, build, plan and optimize your content with AI, not man-hours. It helps you identify different things that you use and plan it accordingly to have you automate some stuff.
Expertise Finder is a good one to find journalists and to find about academics. If you want to find somebody to get quoted on, this is a great website that journalists use all the time. 30,000-plus vetted experts, journalists and academics, you may want to go register yourself. Some of these other ones that are considered important are MarketMuse and BuzzSumo to find the most shared content across most networks. AnswerThePublic allows for you to type in keywords into questions for content ideas, Snip.ly allows for you to share an article that makes it look like you’re advertising their website. Spj.org finds professional journalists to create articles and if you need somebody to write an article for you.
HelpAReporter.com is a cool thing. They’re looking for you to provide content. Some of the places that I’ve been quoted on has come from Help A Reporter. I’ll go type in, add myself on there and you’ll find people that are looking for quotes on real estate. Crowdfireapp is a bot that coaches you and automates content marketing. JustReachOut is to reach out to journalists directly. GetMeMedia.com gets marketing inspiration via search or alerts. Designrr enters the blog posts/site URL and creates a PDF lead magnet. If you’re looking for something to drive in opt-ins or articles, Designrr is pretty cool. Swiped.co profitable market inspiration is some different things that people are using for marketing.
User Engagement
eCommerce is if you’re going to be charging for some things. Some of you guys are doing other things besides buying and selling notes. Izooto.com is a growth eCommerce using push web notification for easy engagement and retargeting of your people. LTVPlus.com is another thing that can help grow sales and conversions. Here’s the basic thing, a lot of this is through Shopify. It gives you different hooks, upsells, cross plug, promotes, especially in social media streams. Some of you may be offering up a class or report or a book. Zipify is a landing page builder and it works all the Shopify app. Yotpo.com is a Google qualified app but also does a lot of reviews. Smartzer is a nice and cool shoppable video solution.

Traffic And Conversion Summit: Automating some stuff helps you identify different things that you use and plan it accordingly.
CRM Tools
Here’s some cool stuff here, ClickFunnels.com builds testing funnels quicker and Instapage.com, two very key landing pages. If you guys are working deals or have deals you’re looking to sell, you may want to use one of these two aspects to help you out with things. Unbounce.com is a fast and easy landing page builder as well. 10 Minute Funnels is a complete drop-and-drag funnel building solution. Leadpages, we use that for landing pages. These are cool funnel builders and website builders if you need some quick landing pages. This one is valuable. I think some of you are very familiar with Infusionsoft as your existing CRM tool.
Some different ad stuff like RevealBot.com, this allows some automatization for those that are running Facebook ads. Smartly.io, same thing, it helps you with your advertising. A lot of us are using the same keywords and you’re wondering why you’re not getting a lot of traffic. If you’re using specific small niche keywords, you would probably want to start moving to bigger keywords. This is a great one, Grepwords.com. It helps you with local and commercial keywords that will help you drive traffic. KeywordEye.com is an agency level data powered by the most advanced SEO software available. It helps you to find the keywords for posting your videos, your blogs and your LinkedIn profile. KeywordRevealer.com is using keywords that are low competition. When you do a search engine, you see some keywords that rank high. These are other ones that will rank very well but maybe a little smaller niche and more focused for you.
A lot of these we’re using and a lot of these I won’t be using. I highly encourage you to spend a little time working through some of these as well. There are quizzes that are being created out there. You may want to use a quiz with your database. You’re going to see a few more coming from us and this is a good idea. It helps you identify where people are in their buys and where they are in the funding aspect of things. They’ve got great quizzes, contests and games that you can post there and help create and drive engagement. Outgrow.co is a great content that gets interactive with people and helps you design it. LeadQuizzes.com, I’ve used this before. I knew some other marketers in the real estate side are using this. Generating leads feel like riding a roller coaster. They have some great things to help you identify people in your database. This Gleam tool is the same thing. If some of you are having a podcast out there, Roland’s been using Gleam to literally help people get 1,500 entries into what he’s focused on with the podcast. It’s helped drive his podcast up to number fourteen between The Gary Vee Experience and The Tim Ferriss Show.
Calculoid.com is an easy waiting gauge, collecting and accept payments. It’s an interactive calculating payment web solution for you on a variety of different things. MaitreApp.co is a referral marketing platform to launch your pre-launch campaigns in minutes. If you’ve got some big things, this would be a good one for you. Upstart.me finds targeted email newsletters that you can sponsor to promote to your business or side projects. Think about this, there are all sorts of different newsletters that go out there that are looking for sponsors. You can get your face, your logo, your business as a sponsor onto those email newsletters. This is a cool thing if you want to grow an audience. Traffic-getting tools, I’ve got a lot of things here. If you’re looking to start a Facebook Messenger chat, you have ManyChat, OneSignal, Gleam, FriendBuy.com is a refer-a-friend engine, PushCrew helps you with web push notifications, LeadQuizzes, HelloBar.com and YoRocket. There are other websites out there, so take a look at those as well.
SEO Tools
SEO tools, I’ll flip through some of these. Save your time on quality link scraping and prospecting with Dibz. This is pretty cool for scraping information. Ahrefs researches backlinks for your things. If you want to check your website to see how fast it loads its mobile pages, there’s Mobile Friendly Test. Remove bad backlinks using Slerpee, Google SERP view of your website. YouTube SEO, for you guys who are posting videos, this is a tool that I’m going to be using quite a bit. YouTubeCockpit.com helps me identify a better SEO organization and then you’ve got SEOmonitor, Seobility and Tend.io. Find out where your traffic came from.
Expanding Your Network
LinkedIn Helper helps you expand your LinkedIn, get targets and expand your network. Some of you that may be like, “I can’t export my contacts anymore.” This could still help you get boosted your profile to help people find out before you. Get them to opt in. Do your smear things you posted on there. This is not the exact best tool to export context but this is a great way to get in front of more context on LinkedIn. Agorapulse, same thing as the last three, it organizes your social media and engagement. HypeGrowth.com grows your Instagram and Twitter profiles if you’re trying to grow your audiences across those two platforms. Dux-Soup.com is a smarter way to generate new business using LinkedIn and easy way to find and engage with your prospects on it. SocialMonials.com is social media automation that self-optimizes for revenue, a little bit different type of Buffer or Hootsuite.
Captioning
PowerAdspy is Facebook ad intelligence. You can see what people are using and with their ads on Facebook. AnyLeads.com leads, drives traffic and creates content for your lead generation. Rev.com, if you’re doing videos, the captions help out. People read. There are a lot of people that will watch YouTube but they watch the videos on silent and they can’t read lips. Adding captions back to your videos at $1 per minute is valuable and it will boost your views out there. That’s one thing we have not been doing but it was a tip I got and we’ll implement it and go from there. Foreign Language Captions, they’ll do it for $3 to $7 a minute. You may want to use this to help drive traffic in different foreign languages. Some other social tools, AdEspresso generates thousands of ads quickly. Catvertiser and Driftrock are dynamic social ads, Facebook Pixel Helper helps you with Facebook pixel plugin, Followerwonk is a Twitter follower tool, Meet Edgar is a HootSuite, Sprinklr and MakeMeReach Facebook, Instagram and Twitter ad campaign automation.

Slide.ly creates slideshow videos is one of the great things. GoAnimate, you are familiar with that. That allows you to create animated cartoon videos. Clipchamp is a video compression tool. It makes it a load faster on your website. Handbrake will also be a video transcoder for you. There are also some other ones like Animoto and VideoScribe creates whiteboard/doodle videos based on your text.

OptinMonster is a great way to convert visitors into subscribers. We’ll be using some of this stuff here with the other stuff that we use as well. There are some influencers out here. Social Pages
For the social pages out there, this is some of the stuff you might enjoy. DirectHeroes.com is a social CRM and direct messenger solution. This manages all your customer support and marketing with ease. It’s an automated bot for you like a chatbot. 2Bound.com, it’s the same thing if you use your Facebook groups out there. There are others like ManyChat, Chatkit, Meet Edgar, Chatfuel, LinkTr.ee and lots of great things that you can use out there to take your website and social to different levels.
Some personalization websites, NiftyImages.com allows for you to literally put somebody’s name directly in a whole bunch of different images. If you have something you’re personalizing, maybe to your IRA investors, you can upload an image in your email where it goes out, it automatically customizes their first and/or last name too. Evergage is one that they thought was essential and the other ones were optimal based on what you’re doing. I would agree based on what Roland was sharing with everybody.

Zapier integrates things together, Blossom, SweetProcess, Officevibe and a lot of great other tools out there for you.
Big kudos to Roland Frasier for sharing these on SlideShare for all of us. I know I went through a lot there. I’ve got a question here, “A couple of weeks back, you went over words not to include your business. Could you read those again or give a link where you got these things?” John, go back to Are You “F” Able on either Vimeo.com at We Close Notes or YouTube.com. Those words will be in that PowerPoint. I don’t have them off the top of my head.
WCN Membership
Once again, if you’re not a part of the WCN Membership, you may want to join us. Note Night in America will only be available live to our WCN Crew Membership. The First Note Night in America each month will be open to the public but everything else, second, third and fourth weeks of the month will only be available to our WCN members. If you want to get signed up for that so you don’t miss anything, go to WCNMembership.com. We have a question, “How long does it take to manage all the apps you include in your business?” We don’t use all those apps. We’ll use an app and then as long as we’re using it, we keep paying for it. If we don’t use it, we find something better. We’ll kill the other one and go from there. Like Buffer and Zapier, once you’ve implemented with these things, it’s meant to streamline your business.
We have a question, “Will you do a show about setting up the backend of your business? For example, how you set up QuickBooks and accept payments from investors or suggestions that can help with that?” If you drop me a message, we’re working on having an accountant come on board here to share some of the backend stuff with QuickBooks. We’re trying to finalize that, we’re ready to do that for the WCN crew members. That will be something we won’t do for the public because it’s something that’s going to add a lot of value. If you are part of the membership, you know that we add value to that.
Besides content here on Note Night in America, you’re going to get swag, you’re going to get discounts, you can get to the Virtual Workshop at no additional cost. You can come to Note CAMP at no additional cost. It’s included in that monthly thing at $97 a month. If at any point you don’t like it, you’re more welcome to cancel. There’s no problem. Thank you so much. I love to have you be a part of the Note Night in America. Do you feel excited about the WCN membership? If I can’t save you $97 or helping you make $97 a month in your note and real estate business, I’m doing something wrong. I know on those previous slides, I’m going to save a lot of you more money in helping you with some tools. Go out and make something happen.
